Out of curiosity, do you also believe that birth control is a form of baby-killing?

Wart, you don't think that was irresponsible? Kids that age are very impressionable and I'm sure they would take that statement literally. If you feel that strongly that anyone who holds a pro-choice stance is a murderer, I'm surprised you are still undecided.

I don't agree with abortion but I think it needs to be legal because if it was not legal then more than just babies would end up dead. People would have abortions legal or not.

That's why all of this endless debating ends up being a complete waste of time. There is a position either party can take on any issue and appear sincere, although they obvious are not. We'll now see conservatives making the exact argument you made, ignoring that they're the party of traditional values (believing in things like not [expletive] before you get married). If, however, it had been a democrat you can could count on the right singing quite a different tune. It's tiring.
It's life. No matter what you do, or how you raise your kids, they still have free will, and will do things you don't want them to do. Same for all people, we have free will.
That really has nothing to do with what I said. Unless, for some reason, you feel that because people have free will and will do things that you don't want them to, it's ok for politicians to be hypocrites.

Forgive me if I don't find that funny. I spent time with a staunchly conservative family last week and I was pretty shocked when their 2, 4, and 6 yr. olds asked why their parents didn't like Obama and they explained it was because he's a baby killer.
I think I would have told the 2, 4, and 6 yr olds that Mommy and Daddy are insane.
Insane - in your opinion. While I don't agree that you should necessarily come across that strong to children that young, they are talking to their own kids and apparently those are their beliefs. We are all products of how we were raised and in a large part the morals, ethics, and values of our parents and how they instilled them in us. Obviously, as we grow up we mold those beliefs with our own and form ourselves. Because their views differ from yours doesn't make them any more insane than your views make you. We all have to accept the differences in each other. I can totally disagree with the views of 99% of the people posting here, at least as far as abortion goes, and still enjoy reading what your saying. Not one of my friends feels the same way I do on this subject, but that hasn't made me change my mind. I can't change who I am just because it is not the popular opinion. And I can accept that my friends, both in the real world and on here, feel differently than I do.

I've been that young, single girl sitting on an exam table hearing a doctor say Your Pregnant, and literally hearing my world come crashing down around me, or so I thought at the time. I don't think we want to get into a big abortion debate, but let's not call people names just because their beliefs differ from your own. Just sayin........

I think he meant that using terms like baby killer to small children is "insane"....I agree with that. I also think it is not sane to let children be a part of anti abortion walks with graphic signs.

We're on the same page there. I agree with both of those things.

I don't think he was saying that he's intolerant of anyone with an opposing view of his. I think he's saying it's pretty shameful for parents to frame Obama's belief that abortion should not be illegal as "baby killing". Especially to kids.

No. The egg has not been fertilized yet, but one it is, I believe it is life. That is my belief, I am not saying it has to be your belief, I am not asking you to change yours, don't ask me to change mine.
