Re: Cats
That cat does some pretty awesome things with boxes and bags. I could never have a cat like that because when he died, I'd know I'd never find a cat like that again.

Re: Cats
We had to put my family cat down over the Christmas holiday. He was 17 years old and on his last legs anyway (or his 9th life I suppose, if you think about it that way), so it wasn't completely unexpected. He ended up developing an extremely aggressive and fast growing tumor that attached itself to his jaw (my parents had taken him in to the vet a few weeks ago to have a cyst on his jaw drained, and the tumor wasn't there at that point). The only solution would be to do surgery and remove his jaw to pull out the tumor, then reattach it. Not only would this be incredibly painful for him for several months until his jaw healed fully, but it would require us to feed him through a tube until his jaw was healed enough so that he could chew food. Plus there's no guarantee he'd even survive the surgery. So we elected to do the humane thing and euthanize him. RIP Fred, you'll be missed.

Sorry to hear about Fred, Swirls. We've had to do that several times. It's never easy.Swirls wrote:We had to put my family cat down over the Christmas holiday.
