funny story about that, my brother had one of those singing dolls of Bing Crosby, had it singing white christmas all the time. Before my nephew learned how to walk, he learned how to push the button to shut that thing up. Never turned it on, just off.Bama_Card_Fan wrote:I can't stand Bing Crosby's rendition of "White Christmas."

When I was in 7th grade I had a girlfriend name Sarah and every night before I would fall to sleep I would wait for Deliah to play that song Sarah on the 102.5 KEZK
(Sorry Dan, I felt bad for getting on to you, that I had to come and confess my secret that I used to be a huge soft rock fan.
)
I also thought Michael Bolton singing "These Eyes" was the best rendition (sp?). Oh how stupid I was to think he was better than the Guess Who

Nuttin' wrong with soft rock. Now that I'm old, graying and baldingat age 36, the wife and I usually have 98.1 KUDL playing in the background during the evenings. Delilah is the wife's favorite radio show. Some of the stories her guests tell are real tear jerkers. Right now, it's non stop sad and sappy Christmas stories of year's past.
The song "Sarah" reminds me of doing remodeling work for a lady in Overland. Whatever station she listened to played that song once every 15 mins, or so it seemed. What was the pop station in the mid/late 80's in StL?
