The guy sure looks like he's mocking Christmas and our traditions and all, But listen to him. It was all about robots and dragons. I think he's from another planet.

That was just a joke btw, robbotis.

Been watching "Better Off Ted" via Netflix streaming. Really tight show (in the timing sense), and it got cancelled too soon. They pulled off lots of stuff that's annoying in other sitcoms - addressing the camera, general "wackiness." Sort of reminiscent of the early years of Scrubs if Zach Braff had addressed the camera instead of narrating, but it has it's own tone. Actually I'd say it's better than Scrubs just by being less sentimental. The fake "Veridian Dynamics" ads are usually good for a laugh too.

Re-watching Breaking Bad,
[SHOW]
it seems clear to me the show doesn't really hit it's stride until around the time Saul and Gus come on board. There's some great stuff before that, but Walter's home life is a drag on the story IMO. Seems to me they didn't quite have Hank and Marie's roles figured out yet, so they come off a little too goofy. There's also a little too much convenient ignorance/stupidity that allows Walt to continue his criminal activity, similar to what happens routinely in Dexter. Skyler is unbearably clueless. The writers deserve credit for nipping a lot of that in the bud during Season 2.

Shameless was a little ridiculous, but also entertaining. Worth watching. Episodes, on the other hand, was boring and unfunny. I'm not sure Matt LeBlanc playing himself will save it.

Thank god Hank Moody is back.

I just learned SciFi channel canceled Stargate: Universe. Wierd, since it had finally started to get good this season. Those people make no sense.

Lights Out was not as good as I was hoping, but looks like a good set up. A couple good scenes, and you can anticipate the turns coming. I'm gonna give it a shot, hope it pays off.

You can see Ricky Gervais's Golden Globe monologue without having to see all the crap on Hulu. Was he like that last year? Pretty vicious. I wonder if he'll be back. Funny, though, and it's easy to get off on the awkward responses from the ultra-fortunate there just to gratify their vanities.
