I wouldn't call him up now, but I was thinking pre-ASB. Not likely because it'll be some combo of Noot/Church/Torres/Scott in LF and CF. I'm sure they don't want to just send Scott down, but if there's someone to bring up in his place that's different.

I'm not concerned about the Ks because he is still adjusting and vs Gorman the upside seems so much greater. When Gorman doesn't K, you don't even necessarily get the power.

One of the trademarks of the Mozeliak era was undervaluing tools and athleticism. That’s why some of these guys flame out or regress after solid starts in the majors. Carlson, Gorman, etc. It’s why Walker turned it around.

Baez won’t have the athleticism problem.

I consider Gorman to have a tool. He has power. His defense is tolerable if he was hitting more bombs. I still have hope he'll improve his bat to ball skills. It'll probably just be for the Reds, D'Backs, or Rockies in a few years.

Yes, he has a tool. But he is a below average athlete for a major leaguer. Some guys make it work. It’s very difficult.

Something I just noticed about blaze jordan (besides obv his great numbers), is he’s played more than double his games at 3b this year, as opposed to 1b. This is different than last year with us and his history with the Red Sox.

Wonder if it’s due to an obv perceived need with Gorman and saggesse’s struggles and a need for a good RH platoon bat there?

That plus they don't really want to platoon Burleson.
