Woof is right. Grading papers for the next seven months is better than this.

Nice win last night. Hofer kept them in it until State Farm finally broke through for the team’s first goal late in the second. 4-2 win (no empty netter).

Bolduc with another goal. 3 (and an assist) in 3 games. (He had one taken away the other night)

Bolduc is mature for his age and is ready to be a steady offensive producer. Mailloux still has some developing to do. Hopefully, he is a quick learner.

I just got back from a business trip overseas. Hoping they take off now that I'm home and can watch more. A 3-1 win against DAL is a good start!
Mailloux definitely has much maturing to do, still.

While watching the Blues-Kings game last night, I got to thinking about Drew Doughty, and how stacked the top of that 2008 draft was with Stamkos, Doughty, Pietrangelo. That made me go back and look. That draft was absolutely *stacked* for defensemen. Here's the top 10 list by career point shares:
Drew Doughty - 135.5
Erik Karlson - 129.2
Roman Josi - 121.5
John Carlson - 119.9
Alex Pietrangelo - 118.2
Jared Spurgeon - 86.1
Tyler Myers - 74.7
TJ Brodie - 65.7
Michael Del Zotto - 48.8
Justin Schultz - 48.8
When Luke Schenn and Zach Bogosian (who have both had pretty long and solid careers) don't crack the top 10, that's a pretty good crop. By comparison the year before didn't have a single defenseman crack 100 PS (Ryan McDonagh at 93.8).

I know several people going to the game tonight. Hope it's a better game than the Kings game.

I hope they begin playing with more consistency soon--consistently well, that is.

Yeah, for sure.
And I'm glad you clarified. The hockey gods are fickle pricks and would sure have show us consistently poor if you hadn't. LOL

Welp, that was 1 period of good hockey bookended by 2 periods of utter sh!t.
This team needs to gel. Bad. They are just... off. Montgomery has his work cut out for him.
