9/24 GDT: Cardinals(Leahy) @ Pirates(Skenes) 11:35 AM CT

[Popeye_Card]

Skenes with a 3.90 ERA is an unusual sight. I saw some chart of his declining pitch velocities this season. He's either hurt or fatigued.

I knew I should have made the bold prediction that 3 Cardinal SP's would finish the season with a lower ERA than Paul Skenes.

Burly overcomes the wind to homer for an early St. Louis lead. 113th RBI on the season for Burleson.

Walker has become too predictable.

Pirates tie it up in the bottom of the 1st with a double by Cruz and RBI from Lowe.

[CardsofSTL]

Leahy has been pitch limited his last several starts; but also the last couple he has not been especially sharp.
