I'd said before, players need to learn to slide feet first. Too many injury risks diving head first. Hands, shoulders, ribs, core, even faces are vulnerable.

It’s crazy because countless studies have been shown that sliding head vs feet first is virtually the same time-wise.

You can obv manipulate your angle/arm movement to avoid a tag, but other than that, there is no benefit to sliding headfirst.
