I am incredibly sorry Dreamer. I feel like I can speak for anyone else that's been around long enough to hear about it, but I was always hoping to hear that your GF's cancer was in remission and that you guys were in the clear (or, at least as in the clear as you can be).

Don't worry about that one d-bag, it sounds like you have friends and family that you can count on, and your "internet friends" are always around for a rant.

Thank you everyone. My goal this week was to get back into the swing of things. I've really been immersing myself in research and writing for my site and fortunately I have an awesome partner who has been taking the reins in my absence.

She fought a hard battle, they didn't think she'd make it three months at first and she made it well over a year. The last six months or so she was vibrant and full of life like she was pre cancer, but when the end came it happened so fast.

Dang. Reading that was a real kick in the gut. Your posts made it sound like she was doing better and was going to beat it. So sorry to hear. There's absolutely positively nothing worse than losing those we love too soon. There's really nothing to do other than hang in there and try to get through the grief somehow. Time helps, but it'll never really cure what ails you. Nothing does, but hopefully you can find peace and not let this consume you.
