NIU is offering travel packages for the Orange Bowl, the cheapest is $769, which doesn't even include a ticket to the game. I was hoping they would have something affordable, even if it was on a charter bus or something.

There are rumors Virginia and Georgia Tech will join the BigTen.

I look forward everyear to the Progressive Tostitos Doritos Spicy Nacho Allstate I don't give a [expletive] bowl. Should be a dandy this year.

What does that include? For a couple of nights in Miami that doesn't sound bad. Southwest to Ft. Lauderdale is going to run you > $500, and lodging is not cheap. Anything under $100 a night is going to be a dump.

If you are thinking about going, especially if you have never been to Miami, you should go if you can swing it. Miami is my favorite city in the U.S, it's always worth a trip. Especially in January, especially when a team you are following is playing there.

Hey Georgia, here's your prize for a great season. A kick in the nutsack by having to beat the crap out of a pos nowledge U team. And I say that as a Huskers fan.

Look who was standing on the sidelines for this goal line stand/touchdown for the Huskies! (I'm the handsome gentleman wearing the yellow badge next to the cameraman)

The Oklahoma-A&M game kind of kills me. Seeing those two teams play is nothing different from any other year since, what, 1995? The same goes for Syracuse-West Virginia. It'd be like Mizzou playing Iowa State in a bowl.

I'm looking forward to Clemson-LSU, even though Clemson doesn't seem to have much of a chance. Baylor-UCLA should also be fun. And I'm definitely curious to see how NIU holds up against Florida St. It's hard not to pull for them after the idiotic [expletive] fit that ESPN analysts threw last night about them, especially against an ACC paper heavyweight.

Georgia-Nebraska might be a good game if only because Georgia's probably pretty bummed about not getting into the championship game or even a BCS game. And I'm absolutely pulling for Oregon to annihilate KSU.

Mostly, regardless of matchups, I'm excited to watch this stuff because it'll be the only chance we get between now and late next August to watch college football.

$100 handshakes.

My friend works for the program, and he shared his field pass with me for the 3rd quarter.
