Well, that confirms my "best case scenario" thoughts, then, IF he does become eligible.

What do you think the odds are that he'll be ready to go/part of the team come January? That's not really a loaded question. I guess I'm just curious where it goes from here because I've read all kinds of scenarios.

Because it's not a matter of his grades not being good enough, it was about having his transfer credits actually count, and the investigation into those credits came just a couple months ago.

I don't know. I've seen Gervino quoted that he doesn't expect Mitchell to ever make it here. But his situation is unique in that if he's good to do anything beyond high school, then he should be good to go at Mizzou. Considering the alternative for him is get things straight and go to Mizzou or try my hand in Europe, I have to think he'll find a way to Columbia. Whether that means in January or not I'm not sure, I think a safe bet would be that he's definitely part of the team next year, with a chance he plays/redshirts in the spring semester depending on how things go.

Ranked 15th in the preseason coaches' poll. Any recent news on Mitchell? I'm already excited about the season and he could make an already good team great. Pressey and Ratliffe have been impressive from what I've read.

TT, or anyone...This isn't so much about 2010, but how much is MU interested in Otto Porter?

Ratliffe was really impressive in the Black and Gold game last night. I think he had 32 points, and showed some really good post presence and rebounding instincts. Pressey looked like a very talented freshman, with some mental lapses and not always knowing what he's doing. Kreklow showed some really good signs; he looks like a very smart player, and he's got a nice three point shot.

I couldn't tell you any more than you already know or could read off his Rivals profile. Mizzou only has one scholarship for 2011 though, and I know that they want Ben McLemore, who's down to Mizzou and KU, so my guess is you see them broaden the search for that last schollie if McLemore decides he is a soulless monster.

I only saw the box score, but Kreklow going 5 for 7 from 3 made me very happy. Really excited about what they could do this year, especially if Mitchell can find his way on to the team this year.
