We're playing the Astros, right? Start Razz, Upton, Ichiro, and the $42 man (though you probably shouldn't actually start Heyward, I'd probably go for Victorino.planet pujolsian wrote:I changed the thread title to "Who to start"? In this league, you have to set your roster for the week.
J. Upton
Ichiro
Heyward
Rasmus
Victorino
Zimmerman (supposed to be out until Tues.)

Rasmus, Ichiro, Heyward(unless you don't by into the hype, then start Victorino).planet pujolsian wrote:I changed the thread title to "Who to start"? Glad I didn't take your advice and start Colby. I went with Upton, Ichiro, Heyward, and Victorino which in retrospect was the best combo.JackofDiamonds wrote:We're playing the Astros, right? Question for this week, which one start pitcher should I start:
Wandy at home against the Pirates TBA starter
Hudson at home against Phillies' Happ
Liriano at home against Cleveland's Huff
Nolasco at Colorado against Greg Smith

Re: Who to start?
I shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a fantasy team. I can't believe how much offense I've left on the bench. I just recently picked up Rick Ankiel, which is questionable in itself, and started him all week. Of course, until yesterday. Decided to bench him and he immediately responds with two homers. Perhaps the key is benching the guys that have been hot, anticipating a cold spell and starting the guys that haven't hit all week.

OK, I'm kicking myself for not starting Rasmus and Heyward this week. I need to trade one of these guys or I'm going to go through this dilemma every week..planet pujolsian wrote:Glad I didn't take your advice and start Colby. Re: Who to start?
Just picked up Justin Smoak. I'm tempted to bench Carlos Quentin in favor of him....is it too soon for that, or would I be wise to do it?
Edit: To clerify, this would just be in a utility spot

So I guess I should start Rollins over Starlin Castro now that he's back?

Re: Who to start?
I'm going to start J. Upton, Zimmerman, Ichiro, and Victorino and sit Heyward and Rasmus until further notice. The young guys are too inconsistent for my tastes.
