I haven't been to one in many years but I find them fascinating.

I mean, if you go to the ones you can't touch or get laid, then I really don't see the point of spending close to 100 dollars for a d*ck tease, and a case of blue balls when it's all over.
I guess it's fun, guys night out kind of event, but I never saw that much fun in getting teased.
It's basically like someone eating (Insert favorite meal here) right in front of you. How is that fun?
Why do people watch Porn?

To do something that you can't do at a strip club without getting arrested/your ass kicked.

Strip clubs are great, but I agree that you gotta watch your pennys. I've never been much for the lap dance, so there's a ton of money that stays in your pocket right off the bat. I've also been a big fan of getting in for free. I have an old firefighters ID I use to avoid cover charges, and the drinks (as long as you pace yourself) aren't that bad.
I'm either a fan of the budget strip clubs - that have a charm all to their own, or I'm a fan of finding a girl who actually knows how to perform. There are lots of dancers that just shake their moneymaker for a buck, but there are others who are actually good dancers that can put on a sensual performance. It's actually a thing of beauty to watch (even if the girl isn't the most attractive in the club). Women are beautiful, and if one or two of them can put on a cabaret-style performance, I'm more than willing to shell out a few bucks for that. As long as I keep it down to one or two trips a year with the buddies, the little lady doesn't mind that much either.... obviously as long as there's no touching (which I've never been a fan of anyway).

If I wanted to hand all my money to a woman I can't have sex with, I would stil be married to my ex-wife.

Quote of the day.
Also wanted to throw this in...I've known a dancer or two before via a friend who frequents a club in Houston. He's close enough friends with one to ask the honest question: "How many girls in the business will turn a trick for the right price." Her answer? About 50%. Something to keep in mind.

If you ever want to score some nose candy, become friends with a stripper.

Delicious nose clams fresh from the sea. These are the kind of nose clams that make you wanna dance the night away!!!

And vice versa, or something.
I got propositioned outside of a strip club last year. I was drunk and thought that this normal looking girl was hitting on me as soon as I walked out of the building, but it turns out it was going to cost $80 to continue the conversation at her place, so I politely declined. Good thinking on her part to set up shop there though.
The time before that I got kicked out of the really shady strip club in Columbia. My friend and I were the only people in there (or by this particular stage anyway) and he told the girl that if she [I don't know how to make this board-friendly so use your imagination - she apparently thought a dollar was worth a lot] on stage that he'd give her a dollar. Well, she did and he rolled four quarters onto the stage, which I guess is a strip club faux pas. She got offended and pitched a fit, and I came over to see what was going on just in time to get tossed when I admitted that I knew him.
Every time I go something weird happens.

My favorite strip club story:
I was at a lame one in Iowa, a couple of us were up at the front row or whatever. I had my head turned watching the lone TV in the corner with sportscenter on. The stripper came up to me, pushed her boobs toward me and said "The show is up here baby!" - while looking pretty annoyed at me. I told her that if it was, then maybe she could tell me the score of the Cards game. She was not happy. I was.
Second best:
A stripper fight broke out on the floor at one I was at once. Lots of shrieks and nasty insults, and hair pulling. Not a single guy in the place was watching the poor girl on stage. Massive boos when both strippers were thrown out (as far as I could tell, by the way, both still topless as they went out the front door)
Anyway, yeah, we never go to [expletive] City any more. Really the only excuse was for nights when someone wanted to keep drinking, and not go home, to a casino, or to Pops/Oz.
