Scoring be damned, all I care about is having a competitive football game. If you didn't find this entertaining, then I suggest you find a new sport to watch.

There's a difference between "competitive" and "suck." Tonight, both teams competitively sucked. It wasn't like the '99 Buccaneers matching up against the 2000 Ravens for a defensive masterpiece -- it was the worst team in the NFL matching up against a team that couldn't get it going in eight inches of rain.

I actually thought it was a fun game. Probably the only game I wasn't really interested that I have watched the second half for years. I don't see anything wrong with football being played in the mud. The only problem is putting that new field on (bad planning). I also give credit to a bad team coming together and playing well.

I guess if you played every game in a dome on astroturf, we would never have these travesties.

And I like to watch NFL games that don't reduce one of the best teams in the entire league to being on the level of the absolute worst team in the NFL. Both teams played horrible, and just because it was close doesn't make it entertaining.

I found it entertaining.

One team doesn't have to dominate a lesser opponent to make it interesting. As it played out, it was far more interesting than it probably should have been. Pittsburgh winning by 3 touchdowns most of the game would have made for a snooze fest.

Just because the players are hampered by the elements doesn't make the football "bad". It just makes it difficult to play at the level we're used to seeing. I think it makes the entire game a more entertaining chess match.

Isn't this the same Pittsburgh team that lost to a 5-6 Denver team, a 5-6 Arizona team, and a 2-9 New York Jet team (just last week)?
