I can see how my answer above might come off as defensive but it was simply meant to be an honest answer to the question. I'm not a big fan of the celebrity in the stands shots, although there are times seeing the family in tears of joy can be pretty fun to watch. And if I'm not a fan of that team...

I'm glad my Broncos picked this year to suck, because the NFL has become irrelevant. The Patriots or Colts will win the Super Bowl.......... that's a foregone conclusion, so I'm not that disappointed that the Broncos aren't playing well (maybe we'll get a high draft pick for a change).

Every player on every team is just expiring another year of their career while the Colts & Pats decide who will be the champ.

In a way, I kinda feel bad for Favre. I think he actually believes his team has a chance this year. Poor kid.

And it sounds like you're in denial. Are you telling me that you wouldn't be excited if your team was 6-1 and looking forward to a playoff matchup against either New England or Indy? Or is it more important to not have any expectations of your team? Why do you watch sports? Do you only tune in when you know your team is going to win? How boring!

Meh. If he doubted the team, he wouldn't be playing.

I'd be excited if I was Favre. But when you've played on championship-caliber teams, it's hard to settle for less.

I've been a Broncos fan since the 70's. Trust me, I don't just jump on the bandwagon when they win Super Bowls. I've seen Broncos teams FAR worse than this one, and hung in there with them. The problem is that even if this Broncos team was a good one (and they will be......Cutler is the real deal), I'm not naive enough to think that someone besides the Colts or Patriots are going to win it all. That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy watching. I'm just realistic. Believe me, I'm not thrilled about it, but I'm resigned to it.

What do they say, any given Sunday. This year has the potential of producing one of the great upsets of all time. Something you can rarely say in years of parity. I'd bet everything I've got that the Packers won't win it all, however. In fact, I'm still simply hoping for a playoff birth, first.

Don't know if it'll make you feel any better about your team but we've played teams like San Diego, NY Giants, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington this year and Denver matched up with GB better than any of them. Get healthy and they're probably a top 4 or 5 team in the AFC. Give Cutler a year or two and who knows?

Just do what Belicheat did six years ago: have the players punch the receivers in the mouth at the line, give unnecessary hits to Mauroney and after Brady gets the ball off, knock him to the ground. I'm not sure if the Packers are physical enough to do that, but if you want to beat New England, you can't play soft. Beat them at their own dirty game. If Belicheat was encountered by an offense like that, it's exactly what he would do.

Especially the way the Pats have been running up the score on everyone, I'm just waiting for someone to just start taking Brady and co out of the game. I don't in any way condone headhunting, but when the Rams offense was on top of the world, the league took the approach of "If you can't beat them, hurt them." And I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop and Belicheck to realize that he's not bigger than the game.

I'm not a Patriot fan (far from), but I don't really understand the bitterness.

When Pittsburgh was ahead of Buffalo 26-3 and ahead of Cleveland 34-7, they didn't stop playing defense. Why should New England stop playing offense?

FWIW, Favre has now beaten every team in the NFL except for the Green Bay Packers.
