Plus, I can't tell you how many telephone customer service reps act like I've said something in Martian when I give my address as Des Moines. It's the state capital, for crying out loud! I always want to tell these people I bet I know the capital of the state THEY live in.

Which is true, unless they're in India.

I used to get that all the time living in Colorado when I told them I was from Ohio, just the inverse. I was from Iowa.
