If Larussa and Duncan retire who would you pick to take over

I'd be against Oquendo. I'd prefer someone with managerial experience.

I know it wasn't asked but Jeff Luhnow would take over for Walt if he were to retire.

Just because you have experience doesnt exactly mean you would be better suited to be a manager. He has been around LaRussa long enough to learn the ropes.

Put me on the Oquendo list. Id like to see what he can do. He seems to get alot of respect from the players and cardinal brass.

I think too many people think Oquendo is a shoe-in to be a successful manager. I think his biggest strength is his ability to help with players hands-on. that really isnt the job of the manager. I would like Jose to go down to AAA and possibly become the manager down there where he can still help players develop but deal with the strategies involved in being a manager.

Oquendo has never run a team. I'd prefer if he doesn't get on-the-job training at the big-league level with my favorite team.
