al reyes gets a save after joe nathan gave up 2 runs at the top of the ninth.

can we safely add reyes to the list of pitchers whose careers benefited from meeting dave duncan?

I think you could, but at the same time he missed all of last year due to injury and was back with the Rays then.... and I think he was a pretty good pitcher before he came to the Cards..

but yeah we can say its another good one for Dunc ;)

If Rich Harden stays healthy, I'd put him up there with Santana, Felix, and Daisuke as Cy contenders (don't think Felix will have the wins). Some hella good pitchers in the AL.

and as if i needed proof
Rich Harden was removed from Sunday's game in the seventh inning with an apparent right shoulder injury.

Harden opened the game with six scoreless innings before getting a visit from the trainer and the manager to start the seventh. He convinced them he was fine to stay in then, but after giving up a double to Alex Rodriguez, he was taken out and walked off the field with the trainer. Maybe he just had a little tightness in the shoulder, but even that would be a bad sign. Owners should be hoping the problem was actually somewhere else.

Wow, that's crazy. Yanks have this one in the bag. Tony Clark has two HRs in the AZ/CO game.

Im going to hate myself for drafting Harden in so many leagues in the 11th if he's going down.

Man McCarthy got hammered. Im so glad I pulled him about ten minutes before the start time.

ichiro (4/5, 4 runs, a hr, and a SB in the middle of the eighth) is leading seattle to a very unlikely lead of the AL west (5-3)... wow :)

Oakland just walked off with a win, 5-4 over the Yankees, Mariano Rivera blowing his first save chance by allowing a 3 run HR to Marco Scutaro of all people.
