Not sure why everyone's calling for Yadi to be dropped in the lineup. Ever since Jose Oquendo helped him with his stance in the playoffs, all he's done is hit.
We all know what he did in the playoffs, he hit over .400 in Spring Training and is off to a good start after going 2-for-4 yesterday.
Don't get me wrong, I doubt he'll be winning any Silver Sluggers but maybe, just maybe, this 24 year old can progress at the plate to a point where he'll be perfect in the 5 or 6 spot.

I'd go like this:
Eckstein
Duncan
Pujols
Rolen
Molina
Edmonds
Spiezio
Kennedy
Kinda diggin the whole Molina hitting 5th thing...at least for now.

I don't think there's any way Duncan and Spiezio don't start against the righty.
Tomorrow we'll get our first W of the season.

Amazing what a World Series can do! Not that I don't want to win more, but it is much easier to just relax and enjoy the games now then last season.

Now don't jinx him.
I've told myself I'm not going to brag about him until he's finished at least one full season of "decent" hitting.

Knowing Tony, I'd be surprised if he went RLRRRLLL against a RHP.
Mix those Rs and Ls up a bit would be my guess.

Yes. I'm not saying I wasn't miffed about the game last night, but I'd have been a lot worse off if we hadn't won the world series, and it was only the first game. Now I can just enjoy it more and watch the development of the young players.
