Esteban Yan threw 98. A true 98. Awful.
When judging relievers I think it is more important to have a plus "out" pitch than a very good fastball. Where would Lidge be without his slider? Ryan without his curve? Hoffman without his change? Dove throws hard but that's about it, IMO. His secondary stuff was very mediocre. I doubt he becomes this year's Calero/Reyes/Kinney. We still don't have a guy like that IMO.
Which Bullpen Goes North?

FWIW, Rick Hummel on 590 KFNS just said that if he had to pick one of the established players from last year that people would expect to come north who might not be would be Josh Hancock.
EDIT: Oops, also forgot that Hummel mentioned they may be leaning toward taking all three lefties: Flores, Rincon, and TJ up north. I can't believe TLR would do that, personally.

Hancock has not looked very good this spring
When I saw Dove his 95 mph FB was getting hit hard by the Mets, however his curve-ball was filthy...I still think he needs some work, but will be good next year. (who's that releiver we had that pitched the last couple years for the Red Sox, throws 98-99 straight and gets rocked by MLer's...oh yeah Timlin)
Falkenborg is ready to take Hancocks spot, IMO
In the limited action I've seen of Franklin, he has looked serviceable and I agree with RC that we're gonna need insurance WHEN, not if Looper blows out (this is the stupidest, bah won't go there)
Poor Narvie, will be pitching for someone else in 2 weeks if not sooner, he'll never make it thru waivers
My prediction;
Izzy, Springer, Thompson, Flores, Rincon, Franklin, Falkinborg
