I kind of like Dan Shulman. He seems to be more about calling the game than promoting himself. I like that.

I honestly can't remember Dan Shulman. If I heard him, I'm sure I would know him.

Turn on almost any college basketball game on ESPN that is considered a big one and you'll hear Shulman.

ok, I don't know that I can stomach college baseketball though. I'm not a fan of basketball at all.

I'd listen to Jon Miller read a phone book. I'm not expecting ground-breaking analysis out of anyone on television, but his pace, and cadence are really top-notch I think. All usual rants about color guys saying idiotic stuff aside, until Joe Morgan starts talking I don't notice that I am actually listening to someone talk because Miller blends in really well I guess, which is pretty sweet.

that seems weak
Not that it's exclusive ESPN games. Many of the weekday broadcasts throughout the season are added by ESPN, but FSN still holds the rights too, so it's on both networks. Sometimes it works the same way for rescheduled Sunday night games (KSDK will still hold the rights).

i'm surprised so many card fans don't like mccarver since he is such a cardinal homer...i guess his stupidity can get on anyone's nerves though.

i just wish vin scully could do every baseball game i watch.

Couldn't even pull ESPN (main channel) on opening night. I wonder what is airing that night, reruns of Madden Nation?

Joe Morgan and Bill Walton and I trapped on a desert island = I'd just kill myself.

I can't watch games with either of those guys.

Dick Vitale goes on that list too.

Morgan says the most ridiculous John Madden-obvious bile every time I hear him. "Now, now, they really don't need to be running the bases if Ortiz can just get a homer."

No really?!

Argh.
