The Force Unleashed II is a blast. I am using my free Gamefly trial to play it, but I will need to cancel by Friday or get charged. Looks like I will be going out to buy it this weekend. I hate spending $60.00 on a game though.

Ok, this is question where you have to ignore the ethical implications, but I understand you can install games on your xbox so you don't have to run it off the disc. Does this mean you no longer need the disc? What's to prevent people from just renting a game and installing it on their xbox?

You still need the disc to play it; it's just easier on the machine to load from the hard drive than a disc, so it runs cooler and quieter.

I hacked my Wii a while ago to store all the games on an external hard drive, so I wasn't sure if this was similar.

yah...ive started doing this with with the games i play alot...my first xbox started to suck because the laser wasn't working properly ( i had to punch the console to get it to read the disc)...i want this glossy xbox slim to last long...
