I'm not going to change any minds here, and no one's going to change mine.
John Phillips was having sex with his daughter, and that became the norm for them. Does that make it a normal relationship?
Situation 1: a parent physically and mentally abusing his child, supplying the child with narcotics, and abusing parental power to initiate and perpetuate a sexual relationship.
Situation 2: Consensual sexual intercourse between adults of the same gender.
The operative difference is consent. A child cannot give consent, a sexually abused child does not give consent, but homosexual adults can.

Man, I was hoping this thread could just be amusing without getting into this nonsense.
I'm not intending to drag this out point/counterpoint, or to kill the amusement, I'm simply asking a question about the logic that was being used. Also, McKenzie Phillips was a consenting adult when her thing was happening.
Edit: AD, I'm not the one who took the discussion this way.

Speaking of NSFW, back when that was first published I was reading the Onion online when a coworker decided to stop by my desk unannounced. He thought it was actual porn and I was too flustered to explain.
