I hope this is a joke, but I'm afraid it's not. Just terrible.
I'm afraid it's not either. I think this is the kind of vote Obama should be extremely worried about. There's a lot of people out there that feel this way, but they won't say it. Trust me.

I'm not sure I like the way this is covered though. If the point is to say "this mentality exists" then I guess it sort of makes sense. But the impression the viewer (particularly an Al Jazeera viewer who doesn't live here) is left with is that all the people at these rallies feel this way. It doesn't show any reasonable responses or people denouncing this kind of talk. You could show that and still get the point across. There are Republicans who have no use for this kind of talk, and I wish that would get shown too. I can see why a mainstream Republican would be suspicious of the media after seeing something like this.

I'm absolutely petrified by it.

Obviously it's shoddy journalism, but to point it out as an example of the liberal mainstream media bias that upsets people on the right is going too far. I'm watching FoxNews right now and they are the ones who have perfected this kind of extremely biased one-sided sensationalism. I've watched a lot of Al Jazeera and basically it's a copy of the U.S. news networks in terms of style. Overalll Al Jazeera is more in the league of CNN than Fox in terms of journalistic quality. In other words, it's bad, but it's not a joke.

I noticed that when I was watching last night. He was walking behind Obama to shake the moderator's hand while the moderator was walking the other way to meet them. And then McCain made that really weird face and reversed directions to meet him.

I noticed several times last night he would flick his tounge out really fast like a snake. Usually when he was all excited, for example talking about those gold plated health care coverages that cover those superficial kidney transplants (tounge flick) and all those pesky certification tests required by states to allow them to teach our children (tounge flick).

I swear he said transplants. I think he meant breast implants, but he said transplants and that's twice now I've heard him say that.
