With Rasmus being as young as he is, I just don't think it's rational to associate numbers with Rasmus. Maybe that's the point, I don't know.

I just think it's impossible to predict anything out of Rasmus yet until we start seeing him at the ML level.

It's 10 pages long, but pretty limited as far as substance from various poster. It's mostly Asmodai hammering home his point, and a couple of other posters keeping him honest.

Trying to project ability in baseball is inevitable.

You have a game with tons of statistical potential. You have bright minds tapping into that statistical potential and forming the sabrmetric community. The next step is using all of that statistical data to project future ability.

Not only is it interesting, it's inevitable. It may not be your cup of tea, but it's going to be around for a long time in baseball.

I read almost every thread.

None of that makes it uninteresting. When a thread gets this long, there are obviously interested parties involved whether other people think it is a worthwhile thread or not.

The other conversation I am having right now regarding baseball is an argument where I am saying that Bedard is still inferior to Felix Hernandez and that Adam Jones along with Lastings Milledge are two of the most proven OF prospects - sorta prospects.

No, I didn't read it. I skimmed through the pages to see what all the fuss was about, and disliked the subject enough to make a post about it. It's 10 pages long because of all the Cardinal fans defending their boy Rasmus. I just think it's a tired subject, and apparently I'm in the minority so I'll shutup.
