It most certainly is. If we didn't have these stupid conference championship games, Missouri could be cursed all the way to the national championship game.

Keep in mind one thing fellas....It Doesn't HAVE to be Illinois...and a lot of people in the country think USC/UGA is a better match up....two better teams...but a lot of people believe the rose bowl will take the 'traditional' big 10 / pac 10 match up if they can.

I'd rather see USC/UGA...UI will get walloped by a healthy trojan team with a month to prepare playing a home game.

Speaking of which, if you haven't heard, USC is trying to move from the colliseum to the rosebowl for regular season games again.
