A lot of the gifts surround paying for a farmer to irrigate his or her crops for a few months, buy fair trade honey, invest in women's coopertives, plant trees or a garden (for families to eat and sell produce) etc.
All gifts that involve an investment to social justice if that's your cup of tea.
While those are excellent gift ideas, hubby and I are treating my folks to an afternoon of Cardinal baseball, food and beverages for their Mothers/Fathers Day gift...... it will be my first visit to the new stadium, can't wait!
