Just because I seriously doubt I'll ever get married doesn't mean that I don't date. Women are... well, awesome and attractive. Its difficult to not want to date.

Maybe the word "date" is the problem, I don't know how you kids all define all of those relationship concepts.

That's okay, my roommate's fiancee got on my case the other day (when I was trying to work on a paper) about "dating" or whatever when I'm not looking for something long term. (Why date if you don't want marriage?)

So I thought you were doing the same thing.
