Painting?

I'll be re-painting my sons room tomorrow and re-staining my deck also. My question is, for those that paint, Do you find painting relaxing,fun or fulfilling or do you just hate it? I find that busting my a** painting is a fulfilling job. When I'm done, I feel like my day was worth it. Of course, I'm also happy I'm done!

but,when it done...i'm happy about how nice and new the room look

painting I like, I hated staining the deck, that took days and and it was summer....in stl....ugh....never again

I kinda like painting, at least outside.

Yesterday, I stained my deck to take my mind off of...you know.

I like it. I'm not the handiest person around, although I can get by. What bothers me is when I'm doing something like I did yesterday (taking apart some plumbing) where I think disaster is one slip of a wrench slip away. With painting I don't feel that stress, I just know it takes time. If I screw it up, I can fix it easy enough. I'm a perfectionist, and painting is one of the few jobs I can do and feel really good about it.

I just finished painting my sons room yesterday and staining my deck today. I've been busy for the last 2 days and I'm pooped.
