After moving to first base from third during Tuesday's game, he let a foul ball drop along the warning track. Mike Rouse, who replaced him at third, then retired the same batter, the Mets' Carlos Delgado, with a nice play along the rail to snare a foul pop.
"Rouse didn't give any ground on that ball," manager Eric Wedge said. "He made sure he took care of it."
Wedge wasn't as pleased with Luna.
"He was a little off today, though he's had a couple good days recently," Wedge said. "He has to work on getting in better shape and be more sure handed."
