2004 or 2005?

Post by StL Dan »

Ok...I went to a game at BII with my wife and son in the blazing midday heat in either 2004 or 2005. July or August, I believe. The Cards were playing the Dodgers.

You'd think I could look at the pictures I took of my son and figure out from there what year it was based on his age. I'm getting old, though, and can't tell if he's 3 or 4.

We went to the game where Larry Walker was playing RF, as usual, slid feet first with one leg under him, to make a sliding catch and came up a litte gimpy. We were sitting first row down the rf line where he made the putout. LaRussa, Edmonds and a few others came out for a chat.

Would that have been the summer of 2005, the year he played in 84 games or in 2004 when he played in 42 games?

I'm thinking it was the summer of 2005 since he was acquired later in the year in 2004 and may not have played too many games in the summer. Not sure, though.

Any deductive reasoners out there that can help?

Check out the scoreboard image....I think it says LA.

I'm sure I have the ticket stubs at home, but right now I'm at work. Thought I'd make a mystery out of it.
