Cla Meredith.
I dont know AP's numbers against this guy but that one HR that won the game over the Padres in the midst of the late season slump could not have been any bigger. Plus the guy came in as unhittable. One HR wont make it a owning but that sure was Lidgesque in my book.

Lidgesque!

Awesome. Seriously, was there ever a better home run than that one?

I will go one further and say that Meredith homer was sweeter than Yadi's Game 7 homer....I mean, in NY we were already doing stuff which was gravy, but to win that Padre game in the middle of that unbelievable exruciating & unednding slump was the best feeling... Besides I knew Yadi was the mang & he would come thru :D

It seems like he has hit Woody Williams fairly well over the last few seasons since becoming a Pad. Maybe someone can pull up those #'s. I'm hoping that assumption is right b/c that would serve well w/ Woody being a Stro this yr.

You're right, he has.

Minimal plate appearances, but still looks good.

Looks like Turnbow has faired well against him. Also, Jason Schmidt has taken care of him.
