Cardinals have lost four in a row and are looking to avoid a sweep at home by the Marlins. They are 1-4 on the current homestand.
The pitching has not been great but the offense has been putrid. Need to wake up the bats.

Relatively rough stretch offensively. 3,3,4,0,1 runs in the last 5 games. Not that bad, but this is the stretch I’m sure a lot have been worried about. The offense pumping out runs will get them out of some jams but if it goes cold the pitching isn’t capable of picking them up.

I missed the start of the game...looks like we got a homer from Torres. He does ok when he gets a few ABs.
