That is crazy. And kinda ironic - didn't he have a much-publicized scuffle with a cameraman on the street when he was with the Yankees?

I also like that the logo for his photography business is a dead bird.

First he murders a bird in a coliseum full of the revolting masses and now he exploits it's memory by profiting off a likeness of it's carcass on his photography equipment? Not a fan.

Randy Johnson detonated a bird 25 years ago today. Yahoo is there to commemorate this important day.

Today we remember a legend… a bird who woke up 25 years ago with no idea it was about to become part of baseball history in the most… unfortunate way possible.

It was just another day. The sun was out. The sky was wide. Dreams were being dreamed. And then—at approximately 100 miles per hour—destiny arrived.

Our feathered friend didn’t ask for fame. It didn’t train for this moment. It simply existed… and then in a flash of feathers, didn’t.

It redefined what it means to “take one for the team,” despite not being on any team whatsoever. Either way, its impact—both literal and emotional—will never be forgotten.

In its final moment, it reminded us all of life’s fragility. Also, to maybe not fly directly across a Major League pitcher’s release point.

Gone, but never to be unseen.

Rest in peace, you absolute legend.

She should have gone to College last year, but she wanted a skip year.
