Mary, I found out recently that my cousin's husband will be throwing out the first pitch on opening day for the Mariners.

I know hitting a baseball is extremely difficult, but cases like his are always so hard to grasp. He was really pretty good at hitting major league pitching not that long ago. I get that pitchers figure you out, but you'd think he'd still run into one with enough frequency to be merely bad and not completely abysmal.
