BOLD PREDICTIONS 2026

Post by heyzeus »

It's time, GatewayRedbirdians. It's time to predict the future. But not with sensible, well reasoned arguments. No. Get the [expletive] out of here. It's time for BOLD PREDICTIONS. Put yourself down on the permanent record of time (or at least til we forget to pay our server host and this all disappears)

Wetherholt is on the roster all year and finishes second in ROY voting,
Beef jerky makes a surprising comeback.
Dustin May had a 3.50 ERA and is traded by early August.
That thing on the back of your neck? You finally get it looked at, and it's benign, thankfully.
Nelson Velazquez has an .850 OPS
The Cardinals lose 100 games for the first time since Teddy Roosevelt was president.
a Family Matters musical is all the craze on Broadway.
Quinn Matthews is in the rotation by May and looks good, actually
Every Yankee suffers a significant injury. Yes, all of them.
Spain shuts down the Strait of Gibraltar, just for the [expletive] of it.
Victor Scott steals 45 bases but also hits .200 so :-k

They finally give up on Gorman and Walker. A year too late. No one they had to clear at-bats for this season ends up being a consequential part of the future: Fermin, Saggese, Church, etc. The front office realizes it needs to completely overhaul the lineup. Two years too late. The rebuild stalls because they didn’t add anyone who can hit this past winter.

As Ghandi said, we need to be the change we want to see in the world. I think I can write the script if you can handle the score and lyrics.
