Not sure if this is the correct thread. But, I will say, when covid hit and I was trying to figure out what was going on, one thing that became really clear was that pharmaceuticals is a pretty heavy mixture of biochemistry, theory, and hope.

What Huang says here, essentially take the hope out and give AI/supercomputers the biochemistry and theory and let it work, makes a lot of sense.

There's also some really dark theories about AI in general that the big money behind it is behind it in the search of everlasting life and god like powers, but that's besides the point.
