I think that's the final nail in our coffin.

Don't know if any of you guys follow Mark Pye and Darius Domingues on the "Blues Digest" youtube channel. They drop a lot of Blues content on the regular. They are DONE with this team, as I think we all pretty much are. They're saying:
- Sell off whatever you can that's not Thomas, Holloway, Broberg, Dvorsky, Hofer, Snuggerud
- Keep guys like Stenberg, Carbonneau, etc. up the rest of the season
- Cross fingers for #1 draft pick
Just trying to picture the line combinations if they did that. Would be interesting, anyway.

I mean I’m down with that for the most part. I do think we need to keep one of Parayko or Faulk (it would take a LOT to get me listening on Parayko) because we need SOMEONE on the right side to anchor the top line.GeddyWrox wrote: ↑December 16 25, 1:27 pmDon't know if any of you guys follow Mark Pye and Darius Domingues on the "Blues Digest" youtube channel. Buchy probably isn’t reasonably moveable, same with binner with the way his season has gone, and I can’t see a team taking Fowler’s extension. I could see a good market for a number of our other guys. Of Faulk and schenn can net you additional 1sts and a solid prospect, I say go for it. Anyone else who can net you a 2nd or 3rd, why not? It’s a deep draft so I’ve read.

I feel like a deep draft will have other teams be less willing to trade off 2026 picks for many of the Blues’ players. Probably looking at 2027 draft picks being included in a lot of lesser deals.

Re: Blues Off-season and 2025-26 Season
DA had a long interview yest/think it's posted on the PD as well.
Basically unless they go on a run, everyone knows he'll have to start selling what he can (and he hopes they do go on a run, so he doesn't have to take those calls)
said if/when it happens, he's not interested in draft picks. he wants players within the new core's age (mentioned the age range of Holloway, broberg, snuggy, etc). Said if picks are the return, he wants to turn those right around and get those age players with them.
obv if we end up with our own being high, that would be one thing...but doesn't sound like he's trying to accumulate draft picks.

How is this team so bad at actually scoring. We've had so many golden chances!!! It's like they're allergic to putting it in the net.
They couldn't score a goal if the net was 12' wide right now.

Faulk finally breaks through.
And then we go right on missing more golden chances.
