Victor Scott is much better than Michael Siani

He has a much better throwing arm and glove. Scott has much more upside as a hitter including knowing to hit em on the ground and leg them out. You rarely see him hit a pop up. Scott is also an excellent bunter. Easy call for cards management

Odd thing to bring up what has long since been settled.

But then I remembered you also think Brad is the best color man in baseball.

I’m wondering about church in AAA; phins what is your opinion?

11th round pick from 2022; Thought he was just a plus runner with good defense in the past, but this year at AA was great with the bat, and even better now in AAA. Showing some power, and the guy just does not strike out.

Could he be our CF of the future?

Church is just ok in CF, which really limits his value. His biggest skill is an ability to make contact with fastball, as he has more than a standard deviation above mean contact rates.

Struggles for power against real velocity and major league caliber stuff. He slaps at velocity and plays for singles.

I'd like to see him give up some contact for slug, but his best fit probably ends up being a 5th OF type. If the strength gains and power gains hold he might be a platoon bat. Thats a pretty great outcome for him.
