Re: Blues Off-season and 2025-26 Season
So I am a pretty big fan of vintage jerseys, as well as teams that carry a traditional look.
With that said, I don’t like these being the base sweaters. The current colors and motif has been generally in place for 27 years now. To shift to the vintage motif now feels hollow. This isn’t like the Sabres going back to their original look after 15 or so years with terrible updates. Or the Islanders.
I like these as an occasional jersey. Not as the base.

I like these but wish they did a dark blue with a yellow note.

I like the new/oldish jerseys a lot. I could also see the argument that they should be a third jersey, but I’m pretty happy with them.
Lots of smoke surrounding Blues and Dobson, shopping Kyrou. Going to be an interesting last few hours before the draft and days before FA. (IIRC Kyrou gets a NTC on July 1)
If we’re on the record I really appreciate Kyrou’s continued improvement and buy in and contract going forward. I’d only move him if it was a home run young core RD or 2C on par with Thomas, and even then I’d wish we could have given up someone(s) else.

Whoa! Tavares resigns in tor for 4x4.4 ish and Frederic resigns in edm for 8x3.85
Good deal for Toronto on Tavares.
Very risky signing on Frederic. He might be a good middle six, might be a 4th liner.

Yep. https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/montreal-canadie ... -1.2328055
Looks like the Islanders picked up two #1 draft picks and a forward, and the Canadiens just signed Dobson for 8 years.
