Looks like Parayko out the rest of the year with a knee thing.

Sucks because we’ve been playing so damn well.

Sell.

Nvmd Rutherford just posted the video when it happened. At the end of the OT period so obv wasn’t needed in the shootout

Didn’t notice since it was like 2 in the [expletive] morning

Jake [expletive] Walman brought back a player AND a 1st round pick? WTF

The sharks were given a 2nd round pick just to take him on in the offseason. So they’ve turned Walman into a 2nd (to take him on), and a 1st (to get rid of him) lol

Sell DA, SELL

Walman has had a really good year, but yeah, that’s insanely good asset management to get a 1st, a 2nd and a player for future considerations. (And good play for most of a year)

I know this team has “earned” to stand pat, but it’s not about this or next year. Sell. If we can get something comparable to what Nelson got, DO IT.

I think Toronto is a perfect fit because I think domi fits into the 2c spot for us in schenn’s place. (Not well enough, but maybe with Holloway and kyrou…)

Or buf with McLeod would be amazing.

We’ll see how it goes without 55. Lots of games against meh teams after tonight’s bout with lak. (Which I’m prepped for a loss as the kings will be motivated to save face with a win.)

Hopefully the 4 days off after tonight’s bout gives the team a chance to get some practice in to adjust to new, post55 roles.

I still think they should have sold, I mean my gosh, Laughlin returned a 1st and minten, but if the team plays well, we probably explore some hockey trades this summer.

And playing in meaningful games in a playoff push should be good experience for the kids.

I hope we can add snuggy after the frozen four (just like making a trade!)

Saw someone on the hf boards post a nice recap of this year’s acquisitions.
Fowler + Broberg + Holloway added to this team in 8 months for:

Paul Fischer
Jeremie Biakabutuka
2025 2nd Round Pick
2025 3rd Round Pick
2027 2nd Round Pick
2028 3rd Round Pick
Given the high deadline prices, that’s crazy good value!!
