My question is more where do you want to draw the line so the almighty vaccinated can be treated.
Since we're using the terms "almighty vaccinated" is it okay for me to use "ignorant unvaccinated?"

And was it fair to me that I couldn't receive proper or timely treatment? (Again, my emergency had nothing to do with my weight or COVID)

What is fair? Would it have been fair to my kids to grow up without their dad because of the ignorant unvaccinated?

I'm an adult and understand that most of life isn't fair. What I'm saying is that those who choose not to be vaccinated should stay out of our hospitals when they get sick from COVID. Why bother/trust doctors and science at that point?

Vaccinated vs. Not Vaccinated seems about right.

Bulldog raises a good question - if Big Medicine is inherently untrustworthy for the purposes of the vaccine, how are the ICUs at for-profit hospitals not as well? That would be ideologically consistent.

I would at all costs avoid a hospital, I’m very suspect of the care they are providing….especially for the unvaccinated.

Hospitals are good for one thing….acute care in an emergency situation.

Plenty of things….but the government and health care system that relies on big pharma (all encompassing) are not included in those things.

There are PLENTY of stories out there about doctors and nurses quitting because of the inadequate/incorrect care some hospitals have been providing regarding COVID.

The legal departments of those hospitals would be extremely concerned to learn that they are simply not applying the proper standard of care to their unvaccinated patients. But to be clear, that's not happening.

What is happening is that unvaccinated patients comprise the overwhelming majority of the covid patients in ICUs around the country, the overwhelming number of patients on ventilators, and the overwhelming number of covid patients who are sadly passing away. And when you exclude patients over 75, it's pretty close to 100% for the categories of bad outcomes.

It really sucks relying on the healthcare system for something you can't help or avoid. And then it really, really, really sucks when you can't get care because of COVID.

But, what if, there was a way people could avoid getting very sick from COVID and possibly save other lives as well? Wouldn't that be great?

Karp - answer my question. What is fair?
