Logo Lillard is gassed. Everything is hitting the front of the rim. He’s not used to playing 100+ game seasons and that’s a big difference between guys like KD, Curry, Kawhi, LeBron, and others who go deep year after year and guys who don’t go deep. Dame needs to work on conditioning this off-season so he’s not out of steam in the conference semis next year. He’s too important to his team to not have something left in the tank. The Nuggets are still playing with energy, CJ and Kanter still are at full intensity and full speed, and Lillard has looked out of sorts all but one game this series.
Well done. Do I get to diss you for your opinion like you enjoy doing?

Yes it’s an anonymous internet board that’s what it’s here for to argue about dumb [expletive] in our spare time.

Also Dame still looked tired in the 2nd so I wasn’t wrong.

Yeah, McCollum carried them. The Nuggets did a nice job of limiting Lillard, but weren't prepared for McCollum to take charge. Hats off to the Blazers. They definitely got it done this year. It's hard to imagine that they'll be able to hold their own against the Dubs. We'll see.

While it was a tough loss for my Nuggets, it's hard to be too upset. 4th youngest playoff team ever, and 2nd youngest team to ever win a playoff series, and they came within an eyelash of advancing all the way to the conference finals. All of this without redshirt MPJ, who easily has the most upside on the entire roster.

MPJ might have the highest ceiling but there’s about a 1% chance he ends up a better player than Jokic. Or Murray.

He definitely has a shot to be better than Murray. Honestly, health is the only thing that will limit him (and it's a legitimate concern, obviously).

Jokic was the breakout star of the playoffs. No center averages 9 assists, that's just crazy. Not only will MPJ not be as good as Jokic, guys like Ben Simmons and Donovan Mitchell won't be as good as Jokic. I just want him to be more assertive. He should back smaller guys down more, use that soft touch around the rim. He loves to pass, but maybe a bit too much to the point where it's like "eh, I'd kinda rather you shoot than Will Barton."

Check out the CJ McCollum podcast when KD was a guest last summer. It's two parts and IIRC in the second part about halfway in they start talking about NBA players and both KD and CJ won't stop about how much they love Jokic's game.
