I feel like a not insignificant number of channels on my TV Guide have infomercials 24/7. I can understand late nights but what’s the point of existing if that’s all you have?

I saw a buddy of mine I hadn't seen for a while so we pulled over in a parking lot to chat. He has a newish Camaro and he was just telling me he put an exhaust on it. So I said let's hear it. He let's freedom ring and it was pretty loud. A few seconds later we hear the siren from a cop. He pulls in and says "whose revving the loud exhaust?" My buddy not missing a beat says "I'm pretty sure it was that Trans Am that pulled out of the gas station over there. " The cop says "oh, gotcha" and speeds on chasing after the Trans Am that doesn't exists. We just started laughing and my buddy says "did he really just believe that?" We decided it was best to leave.
