I guess my point is that I don't go to VEB to read political/religious/psychiatric view points. Not sure why their writer's thoughts on those subjects would matter.

If the Cardinals hosted an African-American night and said he didn't want his family to be a part of that, would you feel the same?

I would feel the exact same as I do now. He is a bigot. I would want no association with him. His views should be known so that people like that can be outed.

If he wrote pieces about baseball that I would find enjoyable then I would read it.

I think Michael Crichton's views on global warming were wrongheaded and dangerous. I sure liked Congo though.

VEB wrote an article about why the Cardinals should host a Pride Night last year. It may very well have been the impetus to get the Cardinals to do it. They're related.

Ah, well then you got me. Haven't been on VEB for awhile. If they've been writing about political/religious subjects and they almost hired someone with views counter to their core beliefs and mission, it would seem like someone didn't do their homework.
