I wrote a (belated) thank you letter to my uncle for an Xmas gift today. It's the first letter I've written in years and it felt like an epic journey. Basic things like remembering to indent and where to place of addresses on the envelope were a chore. Also, my penmanship is beyond terrible now so I kept restarting.

My wife and I both routinely forget our wedding anniversary. Used to be we wouldn’t remember until my Mom would call.
Kind of a special case in that we were together for a long time before marriage, and our first date was another holiday so we came to think of that as our anniversary.
