2011 there was just a different feel to it. In 2011 you had a legit ace starter with Chris Carpenter who was able to carry you all the way to a WS ring, I like Carlos Martinez but he's not nearly as great as a prime Carp was. Carpenter when he was on is easily the best starting pitcher the Cardinals have had this century.
