It really is. That house made bun is so damn good and the burger itself, of course. The fried chicken is good but not better than plenty other options around so I won't bother again. Was there for brunch on Sunday and Crab Benedict was very good.
An old friend owns Kitchen Kulture with her chef partner. She and KK otally deserve all the accolades the accolades they are getting. Everything is fantastic.
I have lived three blocks from Three Flags since the place was Harry's years ago and STILL haven't been in there. I'll probably never get over the fact that my neighborhood bar closed and irrationally dislike Three Flags Tavern just because of what used to be there before them. I liked their cheap, good burgers at Harry's and having a cheap and friendly place so close to grab a beer on my way home from work if I wanted. You couldn't beat the $6 steak sandwich on Mondays or the $3 half pound burger another day or the $4 half pound burger with three cheeses on Thursdays. Or one night was a $3 grilled chicken sandwich. I didn't even buy pots and pans for the apartment until Harry's closed because it was easier to just eat there!
I'm working from home today and decided to order something for lunch. I went to Grubhub and Hooters delivers through there now. Score. I'm getting me some wings!
Has anybody been to Peacemaker? Just got invited to a last minute surprise dinner for a friend who is turning 40 this evening and that's where the reservations are. I really want to get a lobster roll but at the same time the words 'market price' terrify me ever since I got completely hosed at Copia with a $70 16oz bone-in filet (no sides) when I got talked into a special without knowing the price up front. It wasn't a bad steak but it was nowhere near a $70 steak at all.
I know the lobster roll won't be that expensive and I can afford it but, man, that term just terrifies me to the point where I'm afraid to order anything priced like that. I'm having PTSD from that night a couple of years ago!

I'm guessing it'll be ~ $30. We had one recently at 3 Flags Tavern for about that. They have pretty good po boys that aren't as costly. The spicy one though, was really spicy. Peacemaker is good, but yeah I think it's on the high side.
