Re: The Asshat Thread
This lady I used to work with at a past job was the office manager and universally hated. Her office was a shrine to jesus and she spent her days talking down to and criticizing everyone else for being something less than her. She was an absolute nazi about office supplies and no one could figure out why. She counted how many sheets of printer paper each person used. If you wanted paper clips you had to ask, and she gave you ten at a time. I heard from someone that's still there that the owner finally got sick of her constant negativity and fired her this week. The new person was going over the books and found out that she had written herself an extra $500 check every two weeks for the past seven years.

I doubt it. People have stolen from there before (not to that extent) and the owner didn't really do anything.Jocephus wrote:is there going to be some legal ramifications?

You'd think stealing $85,000 would merit a phone call to the cops.lukethedrifter wrote:That's 85k.

People like this. There is no reason he would have to write a note explaining anything. Obviously he's looking for attention on the internet.
Why are people so desperate to be a part of something that "goes viral"?

I took my kids to see Rush last year and had them to school on time the next day. I call shenanigans.stlouie_lipp wrote:People like this. There is no reason he would have to write a note explaining anything. Obviously he's looking for attention on the internet.

Re: The Asshat Thread
Heard one of our sports guys this weekend tell a story about one of the anchors who used to work at my station and now works at Fox News.
It was in the 90s, when the Chiefs traveled to Buffalo for a playoff game against the Bills. Sounds like they sent a couple sports anchors, plus news anchors, reporters, photographers and producers. Probably 10-15 people in total.
After the game, they were all preparing to fly back to KC. I guess it had snowed pretty good in Buffalo and Kansas City, so their flight arrived late back into KC, everyone was exhausted, and the roads, while drivable, weren't in the best shape. I think there were 4 or 5 station vehicles at the airport.
The news director at the time gave everyone a business card for a shuttle service and said if you don't feel good enough or safe enough driving on your own, call and we'll arrange to pick you up.
This anchor called to have a limo pick her up, and she didn't bother to tell anyone else from the station that she did. She kept it all for herself to come back.

If you needed a reminder of how awful a human being Clay Travis is... this is in regards to the Peyton Manning sexual assault at UT:
