So, out of curiosity, what does this mean?

I don't know if you're a Facebook user or not, but it's exactly like when they changed their timeline to a "news feed."

Except Facebook's conversion, while I didn't like it, at least made a little sense. I interact with some friends more often, ergo, I'd want to see more of what they post (and less from others I don't speak with much).

Twitter is all based on time. I don't want to see breaking news as some kind of figure out the order puzzle.
